Training at Awapuni Camp (New Zealand Medical Corps), which has been susnended during the holidays is being rpsumed. An advance eruard arrived on Tuesday to prepare the camp for occhnation, the remainder of the men, numl><>rinrr 150. arrived on Thursday. The Modicnl Corps' men will he renuired to deal with the large rwimber of invalided men who will-'he arriving in New Z?a!a"d shortly, having been evacuated from the hospitals in England. .Just before the harbour fem- steamer left the Ilona Bay wharf for Wellington J , on Tuesday, a woman was swept off the wharf into the harbour by an exceptionally strong gust of wind. Mr George Bennett, a son of Mr W. H. G*. Bennett, of the Wellington Waterside Labour .Employment Association, and a .member 1 of the Cobar's crew, dived into the water, and together .they succeeded in bringing the woman back on to the yharf.
