STOCKHOLM, January 7. German Socialists have informed M. Branting that they will attend the Lausanne Conference when the National Assembly elections are over. MUNITION FACTORIES FOR SALE. LONDON, January 8. The Government is offering for sale, three large munition factories at Watford, Trnfford Park (Manchester), and Dudley (Worcestershire). It is understood "that other factories will shortly be offered. Many large firms are keeni ly anxious to buy such established factories, as the cost of labout and the scarcity of material make the building of others very uncertain for 6ome years. UTILISING WAR MATERIAL. (Received January 9th, 7.30 p.m.) LONDON, January 8. The Government proposes to utilise a large quantity of light railway materialnow in France for connecting country districts in Groat Britain with main railway lines, thus increasing the supply of farm products.
