The Siberian army's booty includes 200 locomotives, 4000 waggons, hugw quantities of equipment, guns, rifles, and ammunition, also many instruments of torture which the Bolshevists had used, many mutilated bodies having been found at Perm. The retreating Bolshevists kidnapped many leading residents of Perm. GERMANY TAKING ACTION. LONDON, January 7. An official German -wireless message savs that Germany is about to take military measures against the Russian Bolshevists. BRITISH TO ABANDON "WAR . (Renter's Telegram*.) LONDON, January 7. The "Star" states that Great Britain has decided to abandon the war against Russia. (Renter's Totegroma.) (Received January Sth, 8.10 p.m.) LONDON, January 7. It is authoritatively denied that the Government proposes to send more troops to Russia. The number there does not exceed 20,000. These are returning at the soonest possible date, and will be replaced by volunteers.
