Ten thousand men were demobilised daily last week, and it is expected that the figures will soon becom© twenty thousand. The Premier is interviewing the authorities personally with a view to evolving a simple procedure. The guiding principle at present is the needs of industry, not length of service. Troops employed at the Essex aerodrome interviewed their colonel, who allowed them one day's leave, adding that those able to secure work would bo demobilised forthwith. Six hundred men at the Kempton Park Army Service Depot proceeded to the Whitehall, and a deputation visited the War Office.
