VERY SMALL PERCENTAGE OF SERIOUS CASES. (PBESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) WELLINGTON, January 8. In tho three drafts comprising 2350 invalided soldiers, which are due to arrive in New Zealand during tho next few days, the Defence Department is advised that there are only nine cot cases, and 54 cases of general sickness which will require hospital treatment in New Zealand. This is an unusually small percentage, and is regarded as distinctly satisfactory.
