A golden avenue is opening for the British iron, steol, and engineering industries if labour co-operates. Orders are pouring in from all parts of the world, and the re-adaptation of plants is proceeding. Particular attention is being paid to specialisation. The greatest danger ahead is the unreasonable cost of fuel, due to inflated wages and the inadequate output.
