THE SHIPPING POSITION.
NEW ZEALAND SHIPPING COMPANY ADVICES. Word lias been received by Mr A. W. Bennett, general manager of the New Zealand Shipping Company, that a sailing vessel, tho Terpsichore, haft left St. John's for Wellington with a large quantity of news-print paper ana other cargo for New Zealand. The vessel will come via the Cape of Good Hope, a.ud it is estimated that tho journey will tako from 100 to : 120 days. i? information has been received as to how many of the largo nunjbeir of ships on their way to Australian waters will come to New Zealand. 'Jt is generally expected New Zealand shippng -will gradually become normal and that conditions will eventually be better than in pre-war dayp.
