DOMINION FORECAST. The following is the Dominion meteorologist's forecast, issued at Wellington at 4 p.m. yesterday:— Present indications are for strong awl squally southerly winds, decreasing soon and veering to increasing north-westerlies, the weather changeable generally with scattered showers, but a temporary improvement is probable soon in the east coast districts. The barometer should rise but fall again shortly in the south.
