SUNSHINE IN 1918.

The amount of sunshine recorded by "The Press" recorder in December was 251 hours 40 minutes, giving a daily average of 8 hours 7 minutes. There were no sunless days.

The sunshine recorded for the year was 2048 hours, as compared with 2105 hours 10 minutes in 1917, 1938 hours in 1916, 1979 hours 20 minutes in 1915, 2222 hours 30 minutes in' 1914, and 1912 hours 35 minutes in 1913.

There were 54 days on which no sunshine was recorded, as compared with 49 in 1917, 42 in 1916, 29 in 1915. 32 in 1914, and 45 in 1913.
