An Italian official message reports:— "We gained ground in the northern region of Monte Grappa. "Italian and Allied aircraft aTe very active.'* • A British-Italian official message says:— "The Northumberlands successfully raided positions southward of Asiago. "We destroyed thirty-,five aeroplanes on July 14th_ and 15th. One British machine is missing._ A wireless Austrian official message states: "We repulsed four powerful Italian , assaults at Monte Perlica and Santatola with the heaviest enemy losses." (Receive? July TBth, 9.25 p.m.) LONDON, July 17. An Italian official report Bays:— "British troops penetrated the enemy lines south-east of Asiago, inflicting heavy lossoe. "Tho enemy heavily stormed onr advanced, lines southward of Col Tasson, hut was driven hack.''
