We celobrate the Fourteenth •s celebrated the Fourth. The war is being fought to save ourselves from intolerable things, also to save mankind." Mr Baker, Secretary for War, sent the following statement to France:— "Wo wfere comrades at the beginning of our democratic careers. France and the United States aro again brothers in arms in the defence of democracy."
