THE KELBURN RAID.

APPEALS UPHELD. (PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) WELLINGTON, July 17. His Honour Mr Justice Hosking today gave judgment upholding the appeals of Mary Griffin and "Winnie Olsen against their convictiras under the War Regulations dealing with disorderly houses—. His Honour said that both tho appellants had a regular income, sufficient to live comfortably on without seeking money by prostitution. There was no reasonable ground for drawing the inference that the unchastity which was committed was practised for hire. The appeal of Griffin was therefore allowed. The Crown did not offer any evidence in Olsen'a case, in which the appeal was also allowed. The Court ordered botli prisoners -to be discharged from custody.
