PALESTINE CAMPAIGN.
SUCCESSFUL COUNTER-ATTACK. (By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) (Beuter's Telegrams.) LONDON, July 15. A Palestine report states that enemy attacks developed on July 13th and 14th againßt the position covering the passages of the Jordan, and on the Abu Telluel ridges, northwards of Jericho. The enemy penetrated positions about Abu Telluel, but the Australians and New Zealanders, counter-attacking, entirely restored the position, and took. 400 prisoners. Indian cavalry dispersed the enemy eastward of the Jordan, taking 510 prisoners, of which 350 were Germans.
