COPPER TRAIL.
MEETING OF EXECUTIVE. A meeting of the executivo of the "Copper Trail" in aid of the Lady Liverpool Trench Codforta Fund was held last evening, Mr L. ii. Hart presiding. \ The reports of the Finance and Entertain-, ment Committees Were received. The \ iaiting Committee reported that it had visited .North sud South .New Brighton, Woolaton, and St. Albans, where eatisiactory meetings were hddrcased and committors sod up.* The chairman reported having received a letter from Timaru concerning a Copper Trail" in that centre. It wm agreed that Timaru should conduct its own copper trail;'with a strong recommendation ihat tho whole of the proceed* should be sent to Christchurch, and that what was required by J-imaru for the Comforts Fund ehould bo refiwtied. Arrangement were made for concerts in different districts. A meeting o! those interested in tho 'Copper Trail" was held in the Optima fowling Club'B pavilion on Monday The scheme was explained by Altasrs Coilins and Black, «nd a stiong committee, with Jlr -R. Malcolm as chairman, was formed to taiw charge of Opawa's' interest in the campaign.
