DARING ROBBERY.

A motor-car, containing jewellery j valued at £2500, the property of Mr Rosebery, jeweller, was Btolen in the city. Later the car was found abandoned at Stanmore. _ The robbery was a most daring one. Mr Rosebery, a wholesale jeweller, left the motor-car in broad daylight in George street, while he entered a shop. He was absent for ten minutes, and on returning the car had disappeared. Before leaving it he had locked the switchbox, but the car fittings being standardised, the thieves were able to unlock it.
