ESCAPE OF MILITARY PRISONERS.
FEATHERSTON CAMP INCIDENT. {PRESS ASSOCIATION' TELEGRAM.) . WELLINGTON, July 15. Five prisoners in the guardroom at Featherston Camp made tneir escapc on Friday evening.. Theyhad been securely locked up on the previo'us' evening, and the sergeant of the guard'reported all well at 6 o'clock next morning. Shortly after it was discovered that the men had escaped. :There was nothing to show, how they broke fromvthe guardroom, ana no trace could' be found of them when search was made later. Ihe members of the guar^d'have been placed under arrest.
