■The London Joint Stock Bank, according to its last balance-sheet (Den? a P aid -"P J capital of 8/0,000; the uncalled capital sfflounts to £6,930,000, and the reserves iJS. y the shareholders to £9,900,000. The reserve funds amount- * an d undivided profits to -273,928. Its deposit and current »<*°nnts amounted to £57,979,280. v The London City and Midland Bank has a paid-up capital of £5,188,840 ; tne uncalled capital is an equal amount, Md the reserved liability £14,528,752. The deposit and current accounts, on jjjcember 31st last, totalled £220,551,-
