ASHBURTON. .A meeting of creditors in tha bankrupt estates of J as. Watson Chapman and Nellie Caroline Chapman, trading as J. W. Chapman, fishmongers, was held in the Courthouse yesterday morning, before Mr J.- B. Christian, I>eputyOmcial Assignee. Bankrupt's statement showed that the amount owing to unsecured creditors was £162 9s 3d, and to secured creditors £813. The de» ficiency was estimated at £35 9s 3d. it was decided to instruct the Assignee to take steps to wind up the estate, the bankrupts to be allowed to retain their furniture. '
