' In reference to an unsatisfactory flume on Mr Matheson'e property, Fernside, tho Board sanctioned the Work to be done in concrete, after an inspection by the surveyor and the rancor. An application from Mr Robt. Ward, to water a further 30 ucres outside tho Board's district, part of R.S. 4994, was held over, pending an inspection and report from the surveyor, the ranger, and Mr Ryan, member of the Boanl. . Mr "Win. Cunningham wrote, asking that his farm outside the district bo watered. After consideration the secretary was requested to point out tho difficulties of the proposition, and to state that an inspection would bo made at an early date. The secretary and Mr "Wayland were amh- ■ oriaed to interview owners at Gust, and agree upon a suitable fence being erected between the Board's property and tliedr own.
