Russell is engaged to a voluptuous beauty, but later learns*to care for a girl of a very different type. Dropping his first love leads to an exciting scene, and the IJ banker is threatened with disgrace by a revengeful clubman. Braving disgrace, Rus S ell avows his love for tho gill of his 23 heart's desire, and the s tory ends with the clubman's death, and Russell's discovery that he has mad© the highest play and won.
