" The Christchurch Division of the St. John Ambulance Brigade held its fortnightly meeting this week. Miss Mills, lady superintendent, presiding. Members, after demonstrating the uses of the triangular bandage, were tested in first, aid l>y Mr Thomas, district superintendent. The Selwyn Nursing Division met this week, with a food attendance of members. Miss Adams, first officer, was in charge. A very interesting and instructive address upon "First Aid in Midwifery" was preen by M'ss Newman, matron of St, Helens Hospital, who was accorded a hearty vote of thanks.
