Sir Douglas Haig's aviation report states: — "Enemy aircraft are active on the northern part of our front. Ten were destroyed and one driven down uncontrollable. • "We dropped 14 tons of bombs over the enemy lines, two tons on' the Lille railway junction, and li tons on the Bruges docks. Three British machines are missing. "We dropped at three tons of bombs on enemy railways and camps. All our machines returned." ITALY. (Australian and N.Z. Cable ~ Association.) ... (Received July 11th, 7.45 p.m.- * " ....... .1 .....ROME, July 10. Between June loth and June 23tli British and Italian aeroplanes brought down 107 enemy machines. They dropped 5000 bombs and took 3000 photographs, travelling as far as Laibach. Nine Allied machines were lost. Meanwhilo Italian airships located 390 artillery positions.
