The club entered three rinks for tho Contro competition and met with considerable success. During the year a billiard room had been ejected, and was proving a success, tho receipts being more than anticipated. The chairman congratulated the members on the position of the club, and expressed pleasure that tho past season had been suoh a successful one.
Two new members were elected, and two resignations received.
! Dr. G-osset referred in complimentary terms | to the services rendered by the green superintendent, Mr "W. J. Hampton, and. on behalf of the members presented him witli a case of pipes. A vote of thanks was passed to the retiring' secretary, Mr J. Booth. The.election of officers resulted aa follows: —Patron, Mr G. Humphreys; president, Mr W. S. Mitchell.; vice-president, Mr H. W.
