Sir Douglas Haig reports:
"Seven German machines were destroyed and six driven down uncontrollable. Four British machines are missing.
'.'We dropped 19 tons of bombs, principally on railway connexions at Roulers and Tournai and dumps at Warneton and Bachtmaur. Practically no flying was possible on tho night of July Bth." LONDON, July 9. The Air Ministry reports that aircraft attacked the station and factories at Kaiserslautern on July 7th. Hostile machines were engaged over the objectives. Squadrons on Julv Bth bombed railway stations, workshops, and sidings at Luxemburg. Bursts were observed in the station and workshops.

LONDON, July 9.
The Air Ministry reports:—
"Our aeroplanes on July Bth successfully bombed enemy aerodromes. Bombs were observed to burst on sheds and hangars.
"At night time the enomy's aerodromes were again attacked with good results. Two hangars wore reported to have been set on fire, and trains and searchlights were attacked at a low altitude. All the British machines returned safely."
LONDON, July St.
Advice from Geneva states that Friday's air raid at Coblenz caused serious damage to the station and two bridges across the Rhine and the Moselle. The majority of the bomb? fell on Shoenbrittstein Fortress, whica is invariably full of recruits.

LONDON, July 9,
The Admiralty reports that a British submarine patrolling the east coast was attacked on the afternoon of July 6th by five enemy seaplanes with bombs and machine-gun fire. The submarine suffered only slight damage and was towed to harbour by another submarine. One officer and five men were killed.

A Turkish communique' states: —
"Five enemy aeroplanes bombed Constantinople on July 7th. The damage was nil."
