LADY LIVERPOOL FUND.
SPREYDON BRANCH. The annual meeting of tlio Spreydon Branch of the Lady Liverpool Fund was held yesterday, the Mayor (Mr W. H. Winsor) pics.-iing. 'i'lie annual report and balance-3Uect, the last-mentioned allowing receipts £103 170 lkl, and expenditure £'374 3s, were adopted. The report stated that 9020 ai tides had been inside and forwarded to the Depot during the year. Tlie Mayor and Mr Syitea emphasised tlio necessity of keeping the work Roing, and thanked one and nil for tlio results achieved. The following officers were elected:—President, Mrs Winsor; hon. secretary, Miss It. Woc'i field; lion, treasurer, Mr M. W. Woodfield; committee, Meedamej Burke, Clarke, Tiemey, Waters, Gahagan, Cotton, Paul, Sykcs, Watts, Tillotson, and Silvester. Mr Sykes brought up the matter of the Tramway Copper Trail, and the following motion wjjj carricd unanimously:—"That the whole of the Borougli Council bo invited to form itself into an executive committeo to work Spscydon in connexion with the Tramway Copper Trail."
