Tho monthly meeting of tho Le Ban's Bay Hood Board. was attended by Messrs W. G. Dalgleish (chairman), .Thoa. 3?. lieonordo, A. A. Macphail, and P C. Al-■ dridge. Correspondence was read from tho Okain's Bay ltoad Board, atating itß willingness to leave.-tha repairs to the Boundary road in tho hands of the Board. The chair- 1 man reported that owing to the scarcity of labour tho work could not be proceeded with, but he was endeavouring to find the ,labour'. The Valuation Department forwarded the'-' now valuation roll for the district,. The clerk estimated that the assessment had' been >u-' creased by 43 per cent. Tho clerk was instructed to communicate with Mr J. Gurney asking-if he-would undertake necessary -work ■ on the Wharf road. Tho chairman reported that slips had occurred on Panama and Dawheir's xoads, and the foreman'was instructed to attend to them and metal and screen part of the Main road cutting. It was resolved to communicate with the Pigeon Bay - Rood Board regarding the cost and V efficiency of the two-homo grader recently acquired by it ,
