APPEAL COURT JUDGMENTS.
(PRESS ASSOCIATION" TELEGRAM.) WELLINGTON, July 10. The Court of Appeal gave judgmont in the case Cook v. Webb, an application by three daughters of a testator under the Famiiy Protection Act. Tho Court awarded to one daughter, who was not in good health, an additional sum of £750, and to two other daughters £500 each. Costs_ of all parties were allowed to' be paid by the trustees out of moneys payable to tho Wakelin family. In tho Appeal Court judgment was given in the case of Rowley y. tho Canterbury Slaughtermen's Union. The question was as to the right of amalgamation of industrial unions in the same district connected -with the same industry." The Court held that the words "connected with same industry" must be read in their primary meaning, and that thero must be identity of industry and not merely a relation to it.
