HEATHCOTE
The Heath cola County Council met last evening. Present —Messrs C. Flavell (chair- ' man), O. K. Burton, E. E. Patten, A. H. Adams, W, W. Scarff, and G. M. Hall. »A letter from the Drainage Board regard- , ing the inclusion of Caahmere in tie Board a drainage area was licld over till the next meeting. The Now Brighton Borough Council wrote stating that it could ■ not see its way to make any extra grant onaaccountt t of Wainoni and Fage'a roads. The clerk reported that two permits had . been granted for the erection of buildings, valued at £CB3, in the Caahmere district, and ; one, valued at £10, in the Valley district.
AMURI. "The monthly meeting of the Amuri County Council wnq held on Saturday. Present— Messrs M. Bethell (chairman), H. R. Davison, B. Hampton, and G. Q. Rutherford. The Whangarei Council asked fox particulars regarding salaries and wagfo naid in the younty. It was decided to supply tho information.
