APPEAL TO FARMERS AND GARDENERS.

! BY PRESIDENT WILSON. j President Wilson has issued 1&e following appeal to American farmers: — "The supremo need of our own nation, and of the nations with which we are co-operating is an abundance of supplies, and especially of foodstuffs. The importance of an adequate food supply, especially for the present year is superlative. ; ''Without abundant food, alike for the armies and the peoples now at war, the whole great enterprise upon which we have embarked will break down and fail. "The world's food reserves are low. Not only during the present emergency but for some time after peace there will be a pronounced shortage of foodstuffs. "Upon the farmers of tho Allies, therefore, in large measure, rests the fate of the war and the nations." j It is more than ever necessary to ' plant only the highest grade of Seeds. : Seeds that have been tested and proved ■ of good germination, and not only this, I but which can be depended upon as tho ! best type and of tho heaviest cropping capacity. Such Seeds are "COOPER'S : SEEDS," generally spoken of by. ex- j hibitors and farmers as the "SEEDS OF SUCCESS." Mr W. Evans, Rongomai, says of these Seeds:— "From the produce of Cooper's Seeds I won first prize for Succession Cabbage; also Pumpkins (weight 641b), 6 • Onions (131b). and Best Collection of ! Vegetables; also winner of most points ' in the Vegetable Section, winning tho special trophy (Rose Bowl) value fivo guineas, three years in succession. Th.re are good reasons why they call Cooper's Seeds the 'SEEDS OF SUCCESS.' f ' Now, make up your mind to take no chances, but ask for COOPER'S SEEDS, either in packets or from the bulk, and insist upon seeing the names on tho bags. Catalogues free from all sellers. G6
