EXPORT OF PEAS PROHIBITED WITHOUT LICENSE.
A licence is now required to export peas from Mow Zealand. This license will only 1 bo granted, however, for the export of Now I Zealand-grown peas. This will prevent Tasmuniiin peaa that have been imported into the Dominion from occupying space in steamers for the United Kingdom that would bo otherwise available for louu.y-grown peas. A considerable quantity of 'i'a&mani&n p<S»tj has been imported into K«w Zealand, ani licenses are not being granted to export these. THE WHEAT PURCHASE. THRESHIITG RETURNS.
