Sir Doaglaß Haig's aviation report bays; — "There has been little air fighting. Wo carried out a large amount of successful artillery work and dropped 19 tons of bombs on selected targets.'' (Received July Bth, 9.35 p.m.) LONDON, July 7. The Air Ministry Reports:— "On the afternoon of July 6th our squadrons successfully attacked railways at Metz Sablons, and dropped 2£ tons of bombs on this objective. Enemy machines attacked our formations over their objective. One hostile machine was driven down. All the Britislf machines returned. 6afely. "At-night time on July 6th our machines successfully attacked railway station sidings at Saarbrucken, and railways at Metz Sablons."
