FIRES
(press association* telegram.) GISBOKNE, July 8. Fire destroyed Peaoooke's Theatre at Te Karaka on Saturday night. The outbreak occurred during a picture en- ; tertainment. An employee was filling a tank attached to the engine when an explosion occurred. The audience escaped without injury. The building was valued at £2500, and was insured for £1400. ; Barraclough's Nervine for Toothache. 49J
