TRAMWAY WORKERS.
a —' TO JO!N TRANSPORT FEDERATION. (special to "the toess.'') DUNjiDito', July 6. As a result of the conference of tramway workers in Dunedin, it has been definitely decided to join the Transport Workers' Federation, which is composed of seamen, waterside workers, railwaymen, and drivers. Messrs E. A. Evans and J. Hutchison (both of Wellington) have been appointed to act for twelve months as representatives of the New Zealand tramwaymen. A meeting of the executive of the Transport Workers' Federation will bo held in Wellington on Tuesday, to consider the business achieved during the sitting of the tramway conference in Dunedin.
