ROYAL NAVY COMFORTS FUND.
The Women's Auxiliary Cotomittee of tho Canterbury (N.Z.) Branch of the [ Nary League desire to forward Christmas parcels and comforts to the men of the Royal Navy and auxiliary and would be pleased to receive donn-u tions in cash, or gifts in kind Buch as mittens, mufflers* socks, balaclavas, jehSeySj or other woollen garments in bltie or black, before the end of this nionth. The committee wotild also be pleased to obtain at once the names and address of every Canterbury man now serving. Information has come to hand thht no less than 50 of our New Zealand motor patrol men took part in the Zeebrugge and Ostend raids. Can we do too much for these heroes? A member of the committee will be at the office of the. Navy League, 119 Worcester street, every week day between 2,30 and 3,30 p.m., to receive contributions, etc; The honorary secretary and treasurer is Miss Lysbeth Harris. i
