Sir Arthur Lee, who has been Direo tor-Genoral of Food Production since February, 1917. has been raised to the peerage for .his services in connexion with national food production. (Bentor's Telegrams.} LONDON, July 1. In tho House of Commons, ;in the debate on the National Service Bill, the Speaker ordered Mr Pemberton Billing to leave the Chamber for disorderly conduct. He refused, and the sitting was suspended, and Mr Billing was forcibly removed. Mr Billing has been suspended for the remainder of the session.
