IRISH UNREST.
APPEAL BY MR MASSEY. (By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) LONDON, July 1. Mr Massey, in a message to the Irish Recruiting Council, appeals to those Irishmen who have not yet risen to a scnsß of duty in the great struggle for civilisation. He says this is not a time to keep up sectional grievances and differences; it is a time for all Irishmen to remember the honour of their country, and to remember their gallant countrymen who have made the supreme sacrifice; Mr Massey urges them to join the ranks of the Allies.
