DANGEROUS SURGERY.
• ♦ • Death follows the surgeon's knife; not the surgeon's fault, of course— ho can't, lielp it. You can. Doan's Ointment cures Piles quickly, painlessly, without danger. People go along for years suffering from Piles; they can try this, that, and tho other remedy, and even gqt treatment from a pnyscian. Tlioy obtain temporary relief maybe, but are never quite cured. A little strain in lifting, excessive fatigue, a little constipation, a touch of diarrhoea; and the Piles como back. They don'yfc amount to much, but they banish sleep and appetite. No position is comfortable; there is intense local paiiv, and that dreadful feeling of weight in the perineum. If the case be of long standing, or if it be in tho early stages, there is only one sure j and lasting euro —Doan's Ointment. Mrs Chas. Shaw, 52 Ashley street, Rangiora, near Christchurch, says: "I consider Doan's Ointment tho best remedy known for curing Pil6s, and I do not speak from hearsay, but from personal experience. For years I was tortured with this complaint, and could get nothing to relieve me until I bought Doan's Ointment. After applying this preparation for a day or so, the irritation was a good deal less, so I persevered until I was quite cured, using in all about two pots. No one knows how I suffered before I used Doan's Ointment. The irritation was simply awful, particularly at night and during the warm weather. It is two vears since I was cured, but I always keep this remedy in the. house and use it occasionally, just as a preventive against any return." Two years later, Mrs Shaw says: "I am still a great believer in Doan's Ointment. It cured me of Piles four years ago, and I never suffer with this complaint now." Doan's Ointment is sold by all chemists and storekeepers at 3s per pot, or will be posted on receipt of price by Foster-McClellan Co., 76 Pitt street, Sydney. But, be sure you get DOAN'S. 17
