Mr Goldfinch, m a speech in London, said tho agreement under which tho Imperial Government acquired the Australian wool clip fissured the best interests of both parties. It provided a remunerative cash price for the entire production, irrespective of whether it was shipped or not, and secured tho military requirements of the Empire for the war period and trade requirements for a year after the war.
