PORT OF LtCCELTO!?. ARRIVED—JuIy 2. Maori (9.10 a.m.), from Wellington. Tarawera (5 p.m.), from Wellington. Invercargill ,(5.85 p.m.), from Wellington. SAILED—JuIy 2. Cygnet (10.50 a.m.), for Akaroa. Maori (7.50 pjn.), for Wellington. TELEGRAPH NOTICE BOARD. July 2nd. Arrived—Akaroa, Cygnet (3.50 p.m.), from Lyttelton. SHIPPING NOTES. The stormy weather prevailing on Monday night delayed the ferry steamer Maoii on her passage from Wellington. The vessel ran into a strong southerly wind and rough seas, the time of her arrival at Lyttelton being consequently about two hours later than usual. Unfavourable weather' interfered with tlie working of cargo on the waterfront yesterday, but work was not suspended until about 3 p.m. Among the vessels held up in port are tho Himitangi, Storm, Huanui, Mana, Rosamond, and Wootton. The Wootton is being held .up at Lyttelton owing to tho rain making it impraoticablo to handle her cargo. It is hoped to have her roady for sailing to-day. She is to return to Wellington to load back to Lyttelton.

The Tarawero, having been delayed by rain at Wellington, arrived here late yesterday afternoon, ana did not sail for the South Inert evening as anticipated. Sho sails for Du-nedin to-day.

The Rosamond arrived here yesterday with sheep from' Gisborne. She will depart today for Timani and Oamaru, whence she will return North.

The Kamona has been -further delayed at Lyttelton by rain, and is notf timed to leave port at noon lor the "West Coast. The Manuka will arrive in port this morning, remaining 1 here until the arrival of the 5.20 p.m. train from Chriatchurch, when she will sail for Sydney, via Wellington. Provided that the work of discharging the Koromiko's cargo of coal from Newcast'e is not further hampered by rain, th» v«®sel will be ready for despatch for Grevmcmth to-daj. The American motor sohoorrer Ozino, wider the command of Captain Laker (state* the "Dominion"), baa arrived at Wellington, with a cargo of case oil from San Francisco.
