ROYAL NAVY COMFOETS FUND.
The Women's Auxiliary Committee of the Canterbury (N.Z.) Branch of the Navy League desire to forward Christmas parcels and comforts to the men of tho Royal Navy and auxiliary services, and would be pleased to receive donations in cash, or gifts in kind such as mittens, mufflers, socks, balaclavas jerseys, or other woollen garments in blue or black, before the end of this month. The committee would also 11c pleased to obtain at once the names and address of every Canterbury man now serving. Information has oome to hand that no loss than 50 of our New Zealand motor patrol men took part in the Zeebrugge and Ostend raids. Can we do too much for these heroes ? A member of the committee will be at the office of the Navy League, 119 Worcester street, every week day between 2.30 and 3.30 p.m.. to receive contributions, etc. The honorary secretary and treasurer is Miss Lysbeth Harris. 1
