SHIPPING SHORTAGE.
NO RELIEF IN SIGHT.
According to information whicli Sir James Allen has received from the Prime Minister from England, the shipping position does not appear very promising. Mr Massey, said Sir James Allen to a "Press" representative on Saturday, was doing his utmost to obtain the necessary shipping to lift thh Dominion's produce and bring goods hero, but many grave difficulties were in the way. It was possible that the shipping supply would not bo equal t>i last year's.
