(frf>s association teleuram.) WAIHI, March 22. The tire in the AVsiihi mine lias been practically extinguished. Jt i s probable that the timbers in the small area affcctcd will continue to smoulder for some days. A thorough examination was made to day of the affected area. It. is, expected that underground work -will be resumed on Monday.
