Xlus was the first occasion in which application for records in thoeo events had been received, and after some disoueeion it *vas decided to re.'er the matter to tbe committei> set up to consider the Dominion chiuapiouihips. He had suggested that tlio cadets might form a club, and affiliate with tho Association, and that ". movement was on foot to establish a Centre for the Manawatu district, which would eventually, if formed, hold provincial championships, in reply, a letter waa reoeived that tUe matter ot forming a. club to affiliate with the Association waa being considered. Mr Kaindle submitted a verbal report on impi'ossions gained during h'.3 recent visit to the AVangunu; Conference. He dwelt on various aspects of swimming iu the Dominion, and incidentally remarked that there were bright proepecte lor swimming iu certain parts ol the .North, where tnere was a-t present no oentre. The chairman also gave his views on the Conference. The various matters involved were relerred to the committee set up previously in the evening to consider the report, of tho Conference, and a vote of thanks was passed to Messrs Bundle, and Bowler. A similar vote wad passed to -Mr Bryant for his services as staTtec at the Schools' Championships meeting, and to Mr O'Neill for hia telegraphed reports of the meeting. Air O'Neill entered a plea, that more opportunity should be given for attempts at Dominion schools' and intermediate records, and it wa« decided that his recommendation should be considered by the committee previously eet u;>. A hearty vote of thanks was passed to the Wanganui Centre lor its hospitable treatment of visiting competitors and delegates, and it waa also decided to congratulate the Centre on the total success of its arrangements. Mr Bryant submitted an encouraging report on the prospects of the formation of a Centre in Jnvercargill in the near future, wWch was received with satisfaction.
