Convention to-dav discussed some reports and passed many resolutions, among them the following:—"That an ettort be made to raise £1000 for a Y.M.C.A. hutment at the fi-ont" ; "that Dr. A. K. Newman, M.P. and other members of the House be thanked for blocking the compulsory clauses of the Social Hygiene Bill ' ; "that the time has arrived when a' man and a woman should produce a medical certificate before a marriage certificate is issued'; "that a criminal offence against a girl of tender years slio..ld be considered as 'unnatural' us an oifence against a boy" ; "that two women should be appointed to ass'st in the censorship of cinema films", "that the electoral law should provide for election of women to the House of Representatives."
