BRITISH ACTIVITIES. SUCCESSES ON THE VEST FRONT. (By Cable—Press Association —Copyright.) (Australian and X.Z. Cable Association.) LONDON. March 15. Tho United Tress correspondent states that on the British front the spell of fine weather has been broken by rain. The airmen are glad of even a few hours' rest. Since March Ist, 127 German aeroplanes have been brought down—in daylight fighting. The night bombing has not ceased. Bombing planes in one instance broke up an intended attack. The enemy s preparations took place in certain villages, and the British aeroplanes in relays bombed tho village from 8 o'clock at niclit until 3 o'clock in the The Germans -were so badly shattered that the attack did not develop. The artillery is now more active, both at Cambrai and Lille. ENEMY VERSION OF YORKSHIRE RAID. (Australian and N. 2. Cable Association.) (Rcuter's Telegrams.) LONDON, March 15. A Berlin official message states: —On the night of March 12th, airships attacked fortified places and military establishments in Yorkshire "with good results. All returned undamaged.
