THE CHURCH ARMY is an institution to be proud of. It has been at the Front since the early days of the War. Thousands of our Soldiers and Sailors have enjoyed and benefited by its REST HUTS AND TENTS on every Front; MOTOR AMBULANCES-the first in the field; KITCHEN CARS, available at any hour; HOSTELS, -with their thousand beds. It controls a HOSPITAL for septic wounds; and every week sends THOUSANDS OF PARCELS to Prisoners of War. IN NEW ZEALAND the work is carried on and managed by the Military Affairs Committee, of which the Bishop of Wellington is Chairman. It erected and operates the Institutes at Trentham, Featherston, Tauherenikau, Awapuni and Narrow Neck; and has sent Thousands of Founds for the Benefit of our Soldiers Overseas. THE CHTOCH ABUT and the N.Z. MILITARY CHAPLAINS do the work of The Military Affairs Committee at the Front; on Troopships, and in Hospitals. The work must be maintained and extended.
