CEEISTCHURCH CLUB. The fifty-SrEt azmual gene-ral moating of tho Christchurch Football Club was held on. Saiurduy evening, M r John Anderson presiding. A motion or sympathy with the relatives of fallen member*, proposed by Mr A*. L. Macbeth, was carried in silence. Xho annual reyort> and balance-sheet (already published) were adopted. St-oayar; deputy-captain, Sir C. S. McCully; hon. secretary, Mr 11. S. Foast; assistant hoa. secretary, Mr M. T. Budd; hon. treasurer, ilr A- J.. Jones;" committee, Messrs ■ W. J. Walter, T. H. "Williams, H. R. T. Spanjer, and C. T. Mosley; hon. auditors, Messrs It. \V. Morgan and F. V. Robinson; delegates to Canterbury iiugby Union, Messrs C. S. MeOully, H.. E. T. Spanjer, It. Jones, and 11. S. i'eaai. It v.-is decided to grant free membership for one year to boys leaving secondary and primary schools last lootball season: Opening' day was Ssed for th& first Saturday in April. . • The club's delegates to the Canterbury Rugby Union were given a ire© hand :n connexion with tho Union's proposals lor this season.
