A PROUD FARMER.
JUS BEST INVESTMENT WAS ELECTRICITY. "I notice you have electric light," remarked a visitor to a Canterbury farmer. ''Yon must find it a great convenicntc "Wouldn't be without it," was the '"'Not only brightens the house, but is handy and safe in the outbuildings, especially where there's dry- hay or straw lving about.-' "But where do you get the current from?" , •'Oh, I've my own little plant—DtelooLight. It's a perfect wonder —come and sgg it." And tho farmer proudly showed to the visitor his Delco-Light installation, and oxplained how simple in construction and how reliable in operation was this complete elcctric light.-and power plant. "So you gel power, as. well as light the farmer was asked. t _ "Yes, besides giving a beautiful light in every Toom, as well as in the stables, cowsheds, vards, and elsewhere, DelcoLight saves a lot of time and labour for the wife and mo by working the separator, the churn, the washing-machine, the pumps, and the sewing-machine.' Aud we are getting a vacuum-cleaner, too, so that will mean less work for the wife."
"Well, I must tell my friends in the South about 3>olco-Light," said the visitor. "Oh, by the way, where did you come across it?"
"Was in at 'The Farmers' recently, and saw a complete installation in their showrooms. AVhen in Christchurch you should drop in at Cashel street and hare a look at it. You can also get some printed matter to take awav with you. Like most I have always wanted electricity. Now I'm getting it— from the simplest plant in the world. As for cost —well, Delco-Light will soon nav for itself. It is the best investment I ever made. 6
