WELLINGTON, March 13. The South Island is still leading in the Red Triangle campaign by more than £3000. The totals are:—South! Island, £28,290; North Island (excluding Auckland), £25,900. Details:— Wellington City, £12,750; Wellington military area, £13,150; Dunedin, £8510; Otago and Southland military area, £5100. The North. Island anticipates regaining the lead soon by further large sums from Hawke'g Bay and Wairarapa. The National Secretary of the Y.M.C.A. has received a letter from Mr Douglas Seymour, general secretary of the New Zealand Returned Soldiere' Association, containing the following information: "The executive has decided to give its very cordial support to your Red Triangle Day efforts, and commends the campaign to all Returned Soldiers' Associations and all returned soldiers throughout New Zealand. Nearly every returned stlaier has at some time come into contact with the work of the Y.M.C.A., ana the executive trusts that your organisation will be completely successful m its. efforts."
