BOWLING.
CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS COMPETITIONS.
The Doubles competition will l>e proceeded with on Saturday at noon, on the United green, when the following will meet: —Canterbury v. New Brighton, Kaiapoi v. Rangiora, Liu wood v. Papanui, St. Albans v. Sydenham, Opawa v. United. Sumner, Ashburton, and Lyttelton will play at 2.30 p.m. The Maddison Single-handed Competition will be played on Thursday next, 21st inst., on the Christclrurch green, commencing at noon, when four gamea will be played. The draw has made it impossible to commenco next Saturday, as intended. The final will be played at ft time to be tirranged. Tne following will play in the first round: —Akaroa (Rev. Hiiyward) v. St Alban6 (R. J. Thompson), Methvon (F. W. Anderson) v. (J. Brncksnridge). Byes have been drawn by the following, who will play at 1.30 p.m.;—Ashburton (J. D. Templeton) v. Sumner (ff. Barlow), Eaiapoi (R. Wylie) v. Linwood (K. Howarth), Lyttelton (E. 11. Henderson) v. Edgeware *(H. West), Sydenham (W. Calvert) v. Kaiapoi Working Men's Club (J. Brown), Opawa (E, W. Taylor) v. N<?w Brighton (D. E. Jones), Papanui (E. Smith) v. Cliristchurch (W. 11. Macdougall), Canterbury (R. H. Borland) v. Itangiom (\V. Efford). SYDENHAM CLUB. The following will represent Sydenham on Saturday: — Against Kaiapoi "Working Men's Club, "at Kaiai>oi —Robson, Peek, arrant, Hollis (s); Laws, Coppice ton, Allison, J.
